How Institutions Can Benefit from Meteor

Using Meteor couldn't be simpler for colleges and universities. With free, secure, and 24/7 access, you will be able to see a student's financial aid obligations, who their lenders and/or guarantors are, a summary of their awarded loans, when repayments are due, details about claims or defaults, and more. Real-time, detailed information is available from all Meteor data providers. LoanLocator supplements this information with links to all other available awards.

Through Meteor, your financial aid staff can:

  • Get an aggregated view of student loans in real time
  • Find lender, servicer, or guarantor contact information
  • Enjoy an easy setup, which requires no special programming
  • Use loan summaries to improve future college budget planning
